3-Step Operation
The device generally cleans following a fixed procedure:

Cleaning (FAP 1): A fluid is injected directly into the diesel particulate filter via the differential pressure sensor's supply line. This fluid loosens accumulated soot and ash.
Flushing (FAP 2): The system is flushed with a second fluid to remove all loosened residues and chemicals from the filter.
Post-treatment (FAP 3): An additive is added to the fuel tank to lower the soot combustion temperature, which supports further regeneration while driving.

Chemical principle
The device uses fluids that lower the combustion temperature of soot particles from approximately 600°C to 300-350°C. This allows the particles to burn at normal operating temperatures and exit the filter as gases.

When is it used?
When the particulate filter is almost completely clogged.
When cleaning with a fuel additive is insufficient.
When the engine has entered emergency mode due to DPF problems.
To prevent expensive replacement of the entire particulate filter.

This additive is designed to stop and eliminate bacterial growth in diesel fuel.
It acts as a powerful biocide that begins working immediately after adding it to the diesel.
It is particularly useful for addressing existing bacterial contamination in the fuel tank.
A biocide product can be used preventatively to prevent bacterial growth, but it is not a conditioner and does not prevent moisture from accumulating in the fuel tank.
2. Bardahl BDC (Diesel Conditioner):
- This additive helps prevent bacterial growth by removing moisture from the fuel and improving the lubricity of the diesel.
- It also increases the fuel's cetane number, which improves combustion efficiency.

It is ideal for regular use to maintain fuel quality and prevent problems.

Securely lock your outboard motor with the Steady Outboard Motor Lock.
These Dutch-made outboard motor locks are SCM approved and come with an SCM approval sticker.

This SCM quality mark is often required by insurance companies but also indicates that the product has high security values.

The Steady locks come with 3 keys (not 5, as indicated on the packaging).

The Steady Outboard Motor Locks are available in three versions, two of which are for outboard motors with a toggle mounting.

Steady outboard motor locks:

BBMS1
Fits light motors up to approximately 15 HP or more, depending on the make and model.

BBMS2
Is for heavier outboard motors <15 HP or more.
Both have a toggle mounting (two large wing bolts).

Installing the Steady Outboard Motor Lock
To install, open the lock and slide the black interior out. Slide this over the spindles, and then slide the metal tube back over the black interior.
Therefore, ensure there is sufficient side clearance to align the metal housing sideways and slide it over the interior. The total length of the lock requires at least a minimum of space to the left or right of the outboard motor, measured from the outside of a spindle.

Also consult the illustration with the dimensions below to avoid ordering the wrong size lock.
It is also important to insert the key deeply into the lock hole. Key breakage is not covered by the warranty.
