A fuel additive that keeps the fuel system in good condition.
This fuel additive ensures that the fuel lines and carburetor stay clean and prevents the white deposits of modern gasoline from corroding everything (including the intake valves, float, needles, and jets).
This fuel additive also provides extra lubrication, preventing the aluminum of the carburetor from drying out.
To a limited extent, there is some overlubrication at the intake valves.
Highly recommended with modern gasoline that contains more ethanol, which makes the fuel drier.
This additive works without disassembly and is intended to keep your engine clean.
If you really want to clean the engine, use Fuel Injector Cleaner or Concentrated Fuel Injector Cleaner (higher concentration and 200ml more volume than Fuel Injector Cleaner).
Product information
Bardahl Fuel Treatment is a fuel system cleaner. This is a balanced blend of extremely powerful solvents for cleaning all internal carburetor parts. It removes varnish, gum, and carbon deposits from the fuel system, carburetor, valves, and combustion chambers.
Bardahl Fuel Treatment is safe for catalytic converters and works in both leaded and unleaded gasoline.
This product can also be used in engines with fuel injection systems.
Regular use extends spark plug life and improves valve function.
It prevents rough idling and stalling.
Only a clean carburetor can be properly adjusted to achieve the most favorable tire/fuel mixture. This maximizes engine efficiency and minimizes fuel consumption.
The Problem: If the critical, precise operation of the carburetor exhibits even the slightest deviation, the amount of fuel delivered to the engine changes.
This results in difficult starting, rough idling, lack of power and torque, increased fuel consumption, frequent engine stalls, and even complete failure. Carburetor malfunction can be the result of improper adjustment, but in most cases, it's due to a buildup of fuel varnish and other contaminants.
Fuel varnish blockage in the idle jets is such a common problem that it's so serious that every engine is affected after approximately 8,000 km (5,000 miles).
Varnish forms in the idle jets every time the engine is turned off.
At this point, the fuel vapor mixture in the manifold expands and spreads through the carburetor, coating the airways, throat, venturi, and even the outside of the carburetor with varnish.
If the low-speed system is blocked or even partially blocked, the engine will idle at higher RPMs due to corrosion of the throttle valve mounting.
This means the engine is idling on the high-speed system, resulting in an extremely rich mixture at low speeds. Short spark plug life, as well as increased varnish buildup on valves and rings, are the direct result.
How it works: When Bardahl Treatment is added directly to the fuel or sprayed into the carburetor, it dissolves and breaks down fuel varnish.
The solvent cleans the carburetor's air intake, air passages, filters, and chambers.
This dirt is flushed into the combustion chamber where it burns.
Bardahl Treatment cleans jets and needles, restoring extremely precise operation. In the engine, this product breaks down varnish, gum, and carbon from valve discs and seats, piston rings, and combustion chambers.
It loosens stuck valves and piston rings, restoring smooth engine running and fuel efficiency. Bardahl Treatment is a versatile cleaner for all kinds of parts and surfaces.
Caution: Do not spill or apply to painted surfaces.
Benefits
• Cleans the carburetor of gum deposits and other harmful deposits
• Cleans the lines and the entire fuel system
• Reduces fuel consumption
• Cleans quickly and without disassembly
Instructions for use
Pour the contents of the can into the fuel tank to clean the entire fuel system.
For regular fuel system maintenance, it is recommended to add a can of Bardahl Treatment to the fuel tank from time to time.
This prevents the buildup of gum, varnish, carbon deposits, and other deposits. Bardahl offers a separate line of products for diesel engines.
