Product description

Complete professional engine cleaning package (a 3-step plan)

Includes: Vacumatic, required for step 3.

This fuel additive is the answer to common engine contamination. This 1-2-3 kit is a good alternative to replacing (often expensive) parts. Because only the air filter needs to be removed when using Supertune, the costs for you as a consumer remain limited.

Product information and explanation.

Always read the detailed instructions on the label before adding the product. Do not add more than directed, as this may have an adverse effect.

Wear safety glasses and keep a fire extinguisher at hand.

Keep hands and clothing away from moving parts while the engine is running.

Keep the products away from paint.

Perform the following steps:

1. Start the engine. Let it idle until it reaches operating temperature.

2. Pour the contents of the STEP1 bottle into the fuel tank. Note: It's important that STEP1 is used first in the Supertune procedure so it's not forgotten.

3. Remove the air filter from the filter housing so the throttle valve can be accessed.

4. With the engine running, empty the STEP2 can to thoroughly clean both sides of the throttle valve. Note: Pay attention to any accumulated dirt on the walls where the throttle valve meets the intake manifold. If it's stubborn, scrub it with a small brush while spraying. Important: When spraying the STEP2 can into a running engine, spray for 10 seconds and then let the engine idle for 10 seconds. Continue this process alternately until the can is empty.

5. Let the engine idle for 2 minutes and then turn it off. Install the air filter and, if applicable, the air filter housing.

6. Mount the vacuum-matic onto the STEP3 bottle. Note: Keep it upright to prevent leakage from the vacuum-matic. Ensure the bottle and vacuum-matic are in a safe place, hanging under the hood. The amount of air and STEP3 cleaning solution can be adjusted with the knob on the side of the adapter.

7. Turn the knob counterclockwise. The product will now stop flowing.

8. Use a vacuum hose that is closest to the throttle valve.

9. Mount the vacuum-matic hose to the connection on the intake manifold. If it is a different size, it can be adjusted to fit with the supplied lengths of hose.

10. Start the engine and let it idle according to the manufacturer's specifications. Note: This will be between 700 and 1000 rpm. For best results, run it smoothly at the lowest possible speed.

11. Turn the control knob clockwise. Note: You will now hear a suction sound.

12. Turn the knob until an optimal mixture of air and cleaner is achieved.

13. Then continue turning the control knob clockwise, so that the air and cleaner become evenly richer until the correct mixture is reached. Important: If the control knob is turned too quickly/too much, there is a risk of engine choking. If choking occurs, immediately close STEP3 Cleaner to allow the engine to recover. After recovery, open the control knob again. Important: If the engine does not choke, but the cleaner/air mixture is still too rich, black smoke will come from the exhaust. An overly rich mixture will not enhance the product's effectiveness. The most effective treatment: The engine runs smoothly and the exhaust shows only minor contamination. Most engines take 15 to 20 minutes to use the 500ml bottle. An engine capable of creating a high vacuum does not require the regulator knob to be turned up as far, unlike engines with a lower vacuum, where this is indeed the case.

14. When the STEP3 bottle is empty, turn the regulator knob counterclockwise (closed).

15. Stop the engine. Remove the vacuum connections from the intake manifold. Restore the original connection to the manifold.

16. Start the engine and let it idle for 3 minutes.

17. Make a test drive of approximately 5 km. Note: Due to rising temperatures in the combustion chamber, combustion residues will cause some exhaust smoke. After a test drive of 4 to 5 km, this residue will have disappeared and the exhaust smoke will return to an acceptable level.

We recommend filling the tank completely immediately so that the product in the STEP1 bottle can work more effectively. (Over a longer period than too vigorously and too briefly).
