# Sustainability
Although sustainability might not be the first thing that comes to mind regarding our product range and target audience — in which the traditional internal combustion engine still plays an important role — we consider the subject increasingly important. Within our company, too, we are constantly looking for ways to make our products, packaging, and logistics processes more sustainable.
## More sustainable products
Sustainability is becoming increasingly evident in our product range. Biodegradable or PFAS-free variants are now available for various products. Examples include coolants, car shampoo, and oil additives.
Products such as the **LXR Plasma Oil Booster** and various fuel additives can also contribute to optimal engine combustion. More efficient combustion can help limit fuel consumption and emission values. In this way, we continue to innovate our product range without losing sight of performance and reliability.
## Responsible packaging material
For our packaging, we collaborate with a reputable supplier that complies with the European **Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR)**. With this, we consciously choose packaging materials that align with the increasing European requirements regarding packaging and waste management.
Our shipping boxes are **FSC® certified**. This label shows that the paper and cardboard originate from responsibly managed forests and controlled sources.
As filling material, we use **Green Flo-Pak**: biodegradable and environmentally friendly packing chips. This material protects your order during transport and simultaneously provides a more conscious alternative to traditional plastic filling.
## Reuse of materials
Where possible, we give packaging materials a second life. We reuse packaging material received from our suppliers to ship orders. In this way, we reduce waste and limit the use of new materials.
## Shipping more consciously
For our outbound shipments, we work with a carrier committed to lower emissions. This involves the use of low-emission trucks, and the so-called **last-mile transport** — the final part of the delivery — is often carried out electrically.
## Fewer returns, less transport
As far as we are concerned, sustainable shipping starts even before an order is placed. That is why we pay close attention to clear and comprehensive product descriptions. Additionally, we share specific product information in our blogs so that you can better determine in advance which product is suitable for your vehicle and application.
By informing our customers as well as possible, we aim to limit the number of unnecessary returns. This prevents not only extra costs and inconvenience, but also unnecessary transport movements and associated emissions.
## Moving forward step by step
We believe that sustainability does not always have to happen in one big step. By making conscious choices regarding our product range, our packaging, the reuse of materials, and our shipping, we are working step by step towards more sustainable business operations.
