outboard motor lock Steady BBMS1

Steady bbms1, the Dutch-made outboard motor lock.
Suitable for outboard motors with a camshaft mounting from 3.5 to 15 HP and also fits various electric outboard motors.

Very easy to install and vibration-free, it comes with three keys.

This lock is, of course, SCM/VbV approved.

Dutch quality:
Steady outboard motor locks are manufactured in the Netherlands.

The housing is made of special seawater-resistant stainless steel.

The cylinder requires some maintenance and lubrication to ensure the lock remains usable for years.

Stainless steel lock tube.
Bayonet lock cap with cylinder lock.
PVC-coated mounting plate.
SCM sticker.
3 keys!! (not 5 as indicated on the packaging).

Installation:
To install, open the lock and slide out the mounting plate. Slide this mounting plate over the spindles and then slide the metal lock tube back over the black interior.
Ensure there's sufficient space from the side to align the metal housing sideways and slide it over the interior. Therefore, you'll need minimal space for the entire length of the lock beside the spindles to mount it.

Opening the lock:
Insert the key deep into the lock.
Turn half a turn to the right (180°).
Turn the bayonet cap to the left.
