Bardahl Diesel Injector Cleaner

A diesel cleaner that excellently cleans and lubricates the engine.

This Diesel Injector Cleaner can be used both preventatively (to prevent problems) and curatively (to solve them). This diesel engine cleaner reduces smoke, improves emission values, and cleans injectors without disassembly.

Use: You can add Diesel Injector Cleaner in two ways.

1) Add the diesel cleaner when there are approximately 20 liters of fuel left in the tank and drive the tank as empty as possible. This creates a highly concentrated mixture (fuel cleaner with fuel). We recommend this if engines are very dirty, with noticeable signs such as high fuel consumption, malfunctions, poor performance, irregular running, etc.

2) Add the diesel cleaner to the fuel tank and fill it completely. This is a less concentrated mixture than the first option, but the product has more time to work. We recommend the second option if you want to preventatively clean your engine. Preventative cleaning helps maintain performance and minimizes the risk of malfunctions.

Whichever method you choose, both options are good. You can't go wrong.

Best advice: apply every 5,000 to 10,000 km. If you drive a lot of short distances, preferably add it to the diesel every 5,000 km. An engine that drives a lot of short distances becomes more contaminated, develops more moisture, etc. The risk of malfunctions is greater.
If you drive a lot of highway kilometers or longer distances, add this diesel cleaner every 10,000 km. This keeps the engine in top condition and minimizes the risk of contamination and annoying malfunctions.

TIP: Make sure the engine is properly warmed up when the Diesel Injector Cleaner is in the fuel tank. You can achieve this by, for example, driving in third gear at 80 km/h instead of 4th or 5th gear, and in 4th gear at 120 km/h. This will increase the engine's revs and make it warmer. The engine's cleaning performance and removal of dirt, soot, etc. is maximized when the engine is truly warm.

Always read the instructions on the label before adding the product. Do not add more than directed, as this can have a negative effect.
